Pakistan’s legendary sufi-rock band Junoon reunited after a long gap of 13 years to treat music lovers to an epic night of entertainment and nostalgia. The event, organized by Peek Freans Sooper, meant to celebrate Pakistanis’ passion for their country on the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam as well as to commemorate nearly 30 years of Junoon’s chart-topping music. The night was a star-studded one with popular stars such as Wasim Akram and Zohaib Hassan along with an army of other celebrities and personalities in attendance.

Deepak Perwani
“For me, being at the Junoon concert was pure nostalgia – after all most of their videos were styled by me and the Sufi look itself was created for them for the Junoon World Tour”
Tapu Javeri
“It felt amazing to see all the Junoonis united. I’ve always felt that Junoon is Pakistan’s best band, and was very upset when they broke up. Glad that they are back together”
Frieha Altaf
“I was the model/actor for Junoon’s first video. Salman is a very close friend so it was nostalgia all the way. Lots of emotions!”
Junaid Khan
“I have waited long for them to reunite and was lucky to experience it live. It was a once in a lifetime experience”
Faizan Haqqee
“It reconnected me with that first dazzling encounter with Junoon back in 1992”
Hareem Farooq
“Attending a Junoon concert was on my bucket list – something I dreamed of attending since my childhood and never thought I would”
Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy
“A concert that I can say the whole nation had been waiting for, for years. Junoon is one band that brings back old memories and to see them reunite back on stage was a great experience! I wish Junoon all the very best and hope to see more live performances of the band together”
